John T. Rieman

Rieman, John T. of Chelmsford formerly of Quincy, died November 26, 2014. 

A Plank owner of USS Midway, Battle Group North Africa, John was a WWII Navy Veteran.  He was one of the six original employees of Dunkin Donuts in Quincy, later becoming a Machinist at Boston Gear Works where he worked for over 45 years.  A longtime member of the Quincy Lodge Masons.  John enjoyed music, nature, animals and spending time with his family.  He will be remembered for his sense of humor and fun loving wit.  John will be sadly missed. 

Pre deceased by his wife Josephine (Baino) Rieman.  Beloved father of John D. Rieman and his wife Loretta of Florida, Karen Heger and her husband John of Chelmsford, Elizabeth O’Connor and her husband Gregory of Weymouth, Thomas Rieman and his wife Ellen of Weymouth and Edward Rieman of Rockland. Devoted Pa of Rana, Amy, Emily, Lindsey, John, Marissa, Jessica, Sarah and the late Conor.  Also survived by many nieces and nephews.  

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Monday 4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. Funeral service will be celebrated on Tuesday at 11 AM in Keohane Funeral Home, Quincy. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree. 

Donations in memory of John may be made to Circle Home Health and Hospice at 336 Central Street, Lowell, MA 01852.
