John S. Mcaleer

McAleer, John S. of Weymouth, formerly of Quincy, March 27, 2009. Beloved husband of Rita A.(Crosby) McAleer of Weymouth. Loving father of Sheila A. McAleer and Brian P. McAleer both of Weymouth. Brother of the late James and Edward McAleer. Devoted grandfather of Ashley McAleer of Stoughton, Melanie, Rachel and Jacob McAleer all of Hanson. Uncle of Michael McAleer of Quincy. John Worked for the Mass Highway Department for 15 years before retiring in 2007. John was a life member of the Port Norfolk Yacht Club in Dorchester. He loved boating, fishing and spending time with his friends at the yacht Club. He also enjoyed camping and car racing. Most of all John loved his family. He will be missed by all who knew him. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the Life Celebration Service in Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY, Thursday at 9:15 AM. Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, N. Quincy at 10:00 AM. Visiting hours Wednesday 4- 8 PM. Cremation will follow.
