John R. Van Ness

Van Ness, John R. of Quincy July 1, 2003. Beloved husband of Patricia (Summers) Van Ness. Loving father of Jennifer Van Ness of Providence, RI. Brother of Barbara Van Ness of FL, Frank Van Ness of Portland, ME, Phil Lewis of FL and Henry Lewis of FL. Grandfather of Maddeline, Owen & Evan Van Ness. John is also survived by several nieces, nephews and many wonderful friends. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Sunday, July 6 from 4-8pm in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock Street, WOLLASTON. Cremation will follow. John was raised on Peaks Island , Maine. He was a graduate of the Boston Architectural Center, Class of 1983. John was a Army veteran serving his country from 1964 until 1966. He worked as an architect for various firms and as a security guard at Poladium Secuity at the Boston Stock Exchange.
