John R. Sadler, Obl. O.S.B

John Richard Sadler, Obl. O.S.B., 73 of Hingham, passed away on January 17, 2016 surrounded by his loving family, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. The beloved husband of 33 years to Francesca (Giovannucci). Loving and proud father to Alan of North Attleboro, Steven and his wife Melissa of Medfield, Jennifer of Weymouth, Elizabeth and Christopher both of Hingham. Cherished grandfather of Rachel, Jessica and Samantha Sadler. John was an Oblate and active member of the Glastonbury Abbey in Hingham, where he found great spiritual peace, strength and friendship.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Wednesday 4-8pm at the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (Off Central St.) HINGHAM.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the Funeral Home on Thursday at 9:15 am prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Paul’s Church, 147 North ST., Hingham Thursday at 10am.

Interment will be private. 

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of John may be made to the Pat Roche Hospice House 86 Turkey Hill Lane, Hingham, MA 02043.
