John “Paul” Lawrence

Mr.  John “Paul” Lawrence of Weymouth, passed away suddenly on December 19, 2017.

He was a longtime member of the South Weymouth Knights of Columbus where he served for many years as their treasurer and always helping out with Bingo. He was a 3rd Degree Knight as well as Knight of the Year in December of 1979. Paul was employed years ago as a Draftman for American Electric Furnace Company in Dorchester  and then was a salesman for Fuller- Brush Comp[any. He retired as a General Manager for Hub Pen Company in Braintree. He was an avid Bruins fan and took great pride decorating both the inside and outside of his home at Christmas time. Paul will be dearly missed by all those that knew and loved him.

Beloved husband of the late Dolores M. “Dolly” (Dube) Lawrence.

Father of Gayle S. Trulson and her husband, Rick, of Brockton.

Brother of the late Wiilard Lawrence, Francis Lawrence, Marie Dapsis, Edward Lawrence and Robert Lawrence. Grandfather of April, Carlene, and Jenna. Great grandfather of Brennen.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Wednesday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home EAST WEYMOUTH at 3 Charles Street (corner of Charles & Middle Street).

Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 9:45 AM on Thursday prior to the Funeral Mass in Immaculate Conception Church, Weymouth at 10:30 AM.

Burial will follow in Fairmount Cemetery, Weymouth.
