John P. O’Hare

O’HARE, John Patrick 62, of Hull, passed away peacefully on Thursday, Dec. 19th after a courageous 2 year battle with lung cancer.

Beloved husband of Terry (Costa) O’Hare of Hull. Cherished father of John Matthew O’Hare & his wife Casey of Hull, James O’Hare & his wife Tracy of Norwell, & Jason O’Hare & his wife Jessica of Hull. Son of the late Grace and Patrick O’Hare. Admired brother of Patricia Donahue, George O’Hare, Kathy Reed, Robert O’Hare & his wife Donna & Maureen Perry & her husband Thomas. Adored “Grumpa” of Tyler, Treston, Nathan, Morgan, Connor, Keegan, Cullen & Braedyn.

John served his country during Vietnam & was proud of this service to his country. He had a love for life & made a good time wherever he went. He enjoyed spending time with his family, traveling and cruising islands, & was often positioned around a poker table singing his favorite tunes. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Visiting hours are Monday, 4-8 p.m. at Pyne-Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St., HINGHAM. A Mass celebrating his life will be held Tuesday, at 11 a.m. at The St. Nicholas’ United Methodist Church, Spring St., Hull. Burial to follow at Hull Village Cemetery.
