John P. Rennie, Jr.

John P. Rennie, Jr. of Weymouth, died unexpectedly of natural causes on February 20, 2021.

John was naturally handy and could often be found working on cars, landscaping, taking on house projects or fixing anything he came across. If he came upon a problem he couldn’t solve, he invested time in figuring it out and thoroughly enjoyed the process of problem-solving.. He was a member of Rotary Club and many local networking groups. John worked in insurance for several local agencies over the years. He enjoyed playing hockey, paintball and spending time with friends. John was in his element when surrounded by people, though he also enjoyed his time by himself and sought out spaces for solitude and quiet. His friendly and genuine nature made him magnetic. It was a dream come true to purchase his cabin in Wilmot, NH last year and his family takes great comfort in knowing he was at his happy place when he passed away. He will be deeply missed.

Beloved son of Jane Rennie of Weymouth and John Rennie and his wife Gloria of NJ. Devoted father of Jacob and Samantha Rennie of Carver. Loving brother of Michael Rennie and his wife Danielle and step-brother of Joe and Beth Brown and Tracey and Mike Hoer, all of NJ. Cherished uncle of Emily, Autumn and Allison Rennie, Scott and Ashley Brown, Megan and the late Erin Hoer, all of NJ. Dear friend of Jennifer Anderson of Natick. Also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and lifelong friends.
