John P. Mahoney

Mahoney, John P. of Quincy, went to be with his Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ on November 8, 2015.

John was always there to help anyone in need and would give you the shirt off his back. He had a love for animals and children, especially his nieces and nephews.  John was artistic and had a skill for woodworking that grew beyond his work in construction.  He will be remembered for his kind, gentle, big heart.

Beloved son of Daniel Mahoney of Quincy and Pamela Mahoney (Costa) of NH.  Loving brother of Justin Mahoney  and his wife Jennifer of GA, Lucas Geraigery and his wife Melissa of Quincy and Daniel Mahoney, Jr. of Saugus.  Devoted uncle of Bradley, Thomas, Sophia and Kali. Cherished grandson of John and Ruth Mahoney of Quincy and the late Peter and Dorothy Costa.  Also survived by many extended family and friends.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Sunday 1-5 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. Celebration of Life service will be celebrated on Monday at 10 AM in Keohane Funeral Home, Quincy.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of John may be made to the New England Wildlife Center, 500 Columbian Street, Weymouth MA 02190.
