John P. “Jack” Regan Jr.

Regan, John “Jack” P., Jr. of Hingham, formerly of Norwell and Dorchester, died on March 12, 2010 surrounded by his family after a short illness. Beloved husband of Eileen M.(Keohane) Regan of Hingham. Loving father of Jennifer A. Murray and her husband Daniel of Hingham, Geoffrey M. Regan and his wife Dawn of Peabody and David K. Regan of San Diego, CA. Brother of Robert A. Regan of CO, Dennis J. Regan of Norwood , Sheila Wolf of Hanover and Marian Hamrock of Hingham. Cherished grandfather of 4 grandchildren. He was the nephew of Robert Regan and his wife Bernice of Brookline, brother-in-law of Alice Matarazzo of Winthrop, and Kevin Keohane of Melrose. Also lovingly survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Jack was a 1961 graduate of Christopher Columbus High School, Boston and attended Boston State College. He worked for TWA and American Airlines in Boston and St. Louis as ground crew for 40 years before retiring in 2007. Jack enjoyed traveling with his wife and children. He was truly a family man, always enjoying family gatherings and was considered the favorite uncle. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours from 2 – 6 PM Sunday in the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St., Hingham, MA. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15AM on Monday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Mary of the Assumption Parish, St. Ann’s Church, Hull at 10 AM. Burial in St. Paul’s Cemetery, Hingham. Donations in memory of Jack may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
