John P. Bisognano

Bisognano, John P. of Quincy, formerly of Weymouth, died on Tuesday, October 12, 2010. Beloved husband of sixty years to Domenica M. (Raffa) Bisognano of Quincy. Loving father of Peter Bisognano and his wife Sheryl of NH and Diane Cronin and her husband Gerard of Quincy. Brother of Peter Bisognano, Jr. of Weymouth and the late Joseph Bisognano. Grandfather of John Bisognano, Michael Cronin and Caitlin Mason. John graduated from Weymouth High School and was a veteran of WWII, serving in the US Army. Mr. Bisognano was a mail handler for the US Postal Service in Boston for thirty years retiring in 1983. He enjoyed traveling and exploring new locations. He loved life, his Ford automobiles, “Big Band” music and had a great sense of humor. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visitation on Saturday, October 16, 2010 from 9 – 10:15 AM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock Street, QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 10:15 AM prior to the Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church at 11 AM. Burial in Pine Hill Cemetery, Quincy.
