John F. Nolan

Nolan, John F. of Dorchester, passed away on October 28, 2024. He was 94.

 Born and raised in the heart of Neponset, John's dedication to his hometown was evident in his tireless work to maintain and improve the local roads and infrastructure. 

John's commitment to service extended beyond his civilian career as he proudly served in the Army Reserves for 38 years. His unwavering patriotism and devotion to his country were hallmarks of his character, earning him the respect and admiration of his peers and community.

John's legacy is one of steadfast duty, both to his hometown of Neponset and to his nation. His work ethic, leadership, and warm spirit will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him. John Nolan's life was a testament to the enduring impact one individual can have through a lifetime of service and dedication.

Predeceased by his wife Joanne Nolan. Loving father to Joseph Nolan of Weymouth. Cherished Papa to Joseph, Joshua, Mackenzi, and Courteney. Loving great papa to Samara, Damien, Madeline, and Talia.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Sunday from 2-4 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home NORTH WEYMOUTH at 40 Sea Street (off Route 3A - Bicknell Square). Funeral service will be celebrated immediately following the visiting hours at 4 PM in McDonald Keohane Funeral Home.
