John M. Tucker

John Michael Tucker, 56, of Naples, FL,  formerly of Hull MA, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, February 18, 2014.

John was a loving and caring husband, father, grandfather, and friend to all.

He was born on July 8th, 1957 in Torrance, CA and grew up in Hull, MA where he met his wife of 31 years, Diane. He was a father of three, Brandon, Vanessa, Corey; and grandfather of Randy, Vanessa’s son. John is the son of Albert and Alice Tucker. Beloved brother of Kevin and his wife Ann of Goffstown, NH, Ronald Tucker, Charles and his wife Irene, Robert and his wife Laura all of FL., Ellen Falconi Commesso, Jean and her husband Malcolm Johnston, James and his wife Candy, Alice Sheehan, Gerard Tucker, Theresa and her husband Joseph Basler and Paul Tucker all of Hull. John is also survived by many nieces and nephews. 

John moved to Naples in 1993. John was a genuinely great person that never hesitated to lend a helping hand to anyone he met. He enjoyed laughing and reminiscing the good times, and was fascinated with all types of popular mechanics, photography, art, music, and watch making.

John was also an honorable veteran of the United States Navy serving from 1981 to 1987 as a Jet Propulsion Mechanic. While serving with VP 44 Patrol Squadron he received two Meritorious Advancements, a Meritorious Unit Commendation medal in 1983, a Sea Service Deployment Ribbon, and received an Honorable Discharge in 1987. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a graveside service on Saturday, March 29, 2014 in Hull Village Cemetery at 11am.
