John M. Tempesta

Tempesta, John M. of Quincy, formerly of S. Boston, September 19, 2007. Beloved husband of Marie E. (Conley) of Quincy. Loving father of Regina M. of Scituate, Lauren A. of Milton, John M. of Saugus, and Christine Tempesta-Clark of Hingham. Brother of Phillip of Quincy, Lena Bradley of N. Easton, George of NH, Nancy Griffin of Raynham, and the late Anna Terwilliger. Cherished “Papa” to Anthony Christopher Clark of Hingham. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., WOLLASTON, Monday at 9 AM. Funeral Mass in St. Ann’s Church, Wollaston at 10 AM. Visiting hours Sunday 2-6 PM. Burial in Pine Hill Cemetery, Quincy. John owned and operated the Tempco Roofing Co. in South Boston for 30 years retiring in 1987. He enjoyed fishing, boating and vacations to New Hampshire and Cape Cod. John was also an avid Red Sox fan and enjoyed greyhound racing. An animal lover, he had a great sense of humor and was dedicated to his family. He was a former member of the Son’s of Italy.
