John M. Quirk, Jr.

Mr. John M. Quirk, Jr. of Hanover, formerly of Abington passed away on November 6, 2020. John worked for over 30 years as an electrician for Local # 103 in Boston. He was also a longtime member of the Knights of Columbus in Holbrook. John will be dearly missed by all those that knew and loved him.

Beloved husband of  Linda A. (Devine) Quirk of Hanover.

Loving father of Melissa L. Navega and her husband, Stephen, of Lakeville, John Quirk Jr and his wife, Susan, of Marshfield, and James Quirk and his wife, Andrea, of Hanover. Brother of James Quirk and his wife, Pauline, of Abington and Polly Quirk of E. Bridgewater.

Cherished Grandfather to Stephen, Madison, Nathan, Morgan, Lydia, James, Alex, and Hannah. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.

The family would like to send a very special Thank You to all the staff, nurses and doctors at both Brigham and Women’s Cardiac Care Unit ICU in Boston and Spaulding Rehab in Cambridge for the care extended to John during his illness.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Wednesday 3-6 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital).

Funeral services and burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to South Boston Special Kids and Adults, P.O. Box, 270731, South Boston, MA 02127.
