John M. Mcgovern Sr.
McGovern, John M., Sr., of South Weymouth, died January 19, 2015.
John, known by friends as “Jack”, worked as a United Autoworker for General Motors for 23 years. He was devoted to his family and friends and will be dearly missed.
Beloved husband of 51 years to Barbara (Deane) McGovern of South Weymouth. Devoted father of Deborah Pimentel and her husband Robert of Townsend, John Michael McGovern, Jr and his wife Sue of Braintree and Denise Hennessey and her husband Kevin of Foxboro. Cherished grandfather of Jillian and Bobby Pimentel, Mick and Tommy McGovern. Loving brother of Nancy Rosberg, Patricia McGovern and the late Thomas, Martin, Paul and Sarah. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Services for John were private.
