Loughlin, John M. of Quincy, suddenly on October 18, 2004. The beloved husband of Pamela J. (Mueller) Loughlin of Quincy. Loving and adoring father of Madeline Jean Loughlin. Cherished son of Joseph M. and Susan (Probst) Loughlin of NJ. Brother of Elizabeth K. Loughlin and her fiance James McNamara of PA, and the late Paul H. Loughlin and his wife Kimberly Loughlin of Baltimore, MD. Son in law of Paul Mueller and his wife Joanne of Plymouth. Brother in law of Kurt Mueller of Rye, NH and David Mueller of Stoneham. Loving Uncle of Kathryn H. Loughlin and William McNamara. John is also survived by many dear friends. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Keohane Funeral Home 785 Hancock St. Quincy, Saturday at 9:30 AM. Funeral Mass in Saint Joseph’s Church, 550 Washington St. Quincy at 11 AM. Visiting hours Friday 2-4 and 7- 9 PM. Burial in Milton Cemetery, Milton. John graduated from Plymouth State College in New Hampshire, Class of 1986 – he served on the board of directors at William Lawrence Camp. John was a skiing instructor for over 16 years at Loon Mountain. John was described as a natural athlete , he enjoyed swimming, mountain biking and skiing. He was a loyal friend, a hard worker with a strong work ethic . John was a devoted husband and a loving and adoring father. He graduated from Ridgewood High School (NJ) in 1982. After graduation from college he spent over 10 years living in Boston. He had a large presence in the Boston Community. He was loved by all and made each person feel special. He worked in sales at Network Plus for 12 years in Quincy. He will be remembered for his unquenchable thirst for life and living it to the fullest. His enthusiasm was contagious and spirit truly genuine. In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Madeline Jean Loughlin College Fund, c/o. Directions to St. Joseph’s Church, 556 Washington Street, Quincy from Rte. 128 or 93 SouthTake exit 18 (green sign says) Quincy Center “T” Station/Washington St….Keep in right lane…this exit ramp splits…keep right, (sign reads, Washington St./Braintree) Now get into center lane…come to traffic light at end of exit…go left…keep in right lane and come to lights (Archbishop Williams High School is in front of you)..Bear to the right (not a hard right)…This is High Street…Go .7 mile…At stop sign go left…then a right at yellow flashing light onto Kendrick Rd…Travel.5 mile at stop sign go right on Quincy Ave., .5 mile to 2nd lights…Left onto Southern Artery then .1 mile. left onto Chubbuck Street, .3 mile to light…This is Washington St. go left at this light..St Joseph’s is on right.
