John M. Flaherty

Flaherty, John M. of Quincy September 1, 2005. Husband of the late Mary (Burke) Flaherty. Loving father of Cheryl A. of North Quincy, Deborah M. Curtis of CA, Patrick M. and Linda M. Flaherty, both of North Quincy, and the late John M. Flaherty, III. Brother of Robert of Quincy, Jean Lank of Braintree, Patricia Navis of Quincy, Joan Ridge of Holbrook, Mary MacDonald of Brookline, Sheila Dunn of Braintree, and the late Richard, James and Doris. Also survived by 6 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., WOLLASTON Tuesday at 8 AM. Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, N. Quincy at 9 AM. Visiting hours Monday 4-8 PM. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree. Mr. Flaherty worked as a longshoreman for Local #805, retiring in 1995. He proudly served in the Navy aboard the U.S.S. Bennington. He enjoyed the sea, travel, and his daily trips to Suffolk Downs and the gym. He will be greatly missed by his family.
