John Joseph Russell

Russell, John Joseph, age 86, of N. Quincy, passed away peacefully at home on June 4, 2012. Beloved husband of Mary J. (Griffin) Russell of N. Quincy. Devoted brother of Henry Russell of W. Roxbury, Patrick Russell of Quincy, Maureen Ashness of NC, and the late Jane Cantino, Anna Connolly, and Margaret McNamee. Also survived by his devoted “Maura” and many nieces and nephews. John was born in County Cork, Ireland and was a United States Army veteran of the Korean War. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Thursday 4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15 AM on Friday prior to the Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, Quincy at 10 AM. Burial in Pine Hill Cemetery, Quincy.
