Faraca, John “Jay” of Weymouth, died October 12, 2020.
John retired from Verizon after working there for over 25 years. After retirement John ran a Lego Business, but found more pleasure in giving them away than making a profit. He and his wife spent much time traveling and seeing the world. In his earlier years, John collected matchbox cars and found excitement in learning about the weather. John was a knowledgeable man who knew a little something about just about everything. His main passion in life was spending time with those he loved, especially his grandchildren. He will be remembered for his genuine, loving and funny personality. John will be sadly missed by all those who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Beloved husband of 40 years to Carol A. Faraca (Ford) of Weymouth. Loving father of John Faraca and his wife Chrissy of Plainville, Meaghan Gatto and her husband Steve of Marlborough, CT and James Faraca and his wife Taylor of Weymouth. Devoted Papa of Kyleigh, Makenzie, Mia, Hadie, Oliver and Tyler. Caring brother of the late Michael Faraca. Cherised brother in law of Susanne Faraca of West Tisbury. Adored nephew of Barrie Hamilton and her husband Lenny of Needham and Paul Faraca of Falmouth. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.
