John “Jack” Mcneil

McNeil, John J. “Jack” of Quincy October 16, 2005. Beloved husband of 46 years to Evelyn (Quigley). Father of Mary Luppino and her husband Joe of West Bridgewater, John J. and his wife Linda of Tyngsboro, Peter W. and his wife Lucy of S. Weymouth, and Catherine Hammill and her husband Kevin of Abington. Brother of Florence McNeil of Quincy, Michael McNeil of Jamaica Plain, and Marjorie Scott of Winthrop. Also survived by 9 grandchildren and many neices and nephews. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., WOLLASTON Wednesday at 9 AM. Funeral Mass in Holy Trinity Parish in Most Blessed Sacrament Church at 10 AM. Visiting hours Tuesday 4-8 PM. Cremation will follow. Donations in memory of Jack may be made to MSPCA, 350 S. Huntington Ave., Jamaica Plain, MA 02130. Jack worked for the former General Dynamics during the 60’s and 70’s as a paint contractor and has been a self employed General Contractor for the past 30+ years. He was a Combat Engineer between 1959-64 in the Army Reserves. He enjoyed travel and visited many destinations as far away as China and Egypt. He often could be found helping his children with home improvement projects,the repair of their automobiles and spending as much time as he could with his 9 grandchildren.
