John (Jack) Fitch

Fitch, John (Jack) of Hingham, formerly of Cape Cod, Shrewsbury and Upton, MA passed away May 16, 2010. Beloved husband of June (Lincoln) Fitch. Son of the late Howard G. and Dorothy (Kelley) Fitch. Loving father of Diane Cunha of Douglas, Cary Fitch of Cape Cod and Johnny Fitch of TN. Brother of the late Howard G., Jr. and his wife Jean. Also survived by six grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Jack served two years in the Merchant Marines and three years in the U.S. Army during WW II. He was the Purchasing Manager for the former Bay State Abrasive Co. in Westboro, MA for thirty-five years. His greatest joy was golfing. He will be greatly missed by all who new and loved him. Jack will be cremated and a family service will be held at the Cape at a later date.
