John “Jack” Brady

Brady, John “Jack” of Quincy, February 4, 2008. Beloved husband of Elizabeth (Doucette) Brady of Quincy. Loving father of Glenn Brady of GA, Paul Murphy and his wife Dr. Cynthia Hines of Falmouth and Kenneth Murphy of FL. Brother of Mary Catherine “Kay” Duggan of Quincy. Grandfather of Michael Brady of NC, Kristen Brady of MS and Sonia Murphy of Falmouth. Jack worked as a Police Officer for the City of Quincy for 30 years, retiring in 1982. He served in the United States Marine Corps. Mr. Brady loved boating and has owned several boats through the years. He enjoyed vacations and boating on Lake Winnipesaukee in New Hampshire. He traveled the world with his wife and visited England, Ireland, France, Portugal, Norway, Italy and Germany. Jack was an avid chef, took cooking lessons and enjoyed the Food Channel Network. He was also an avid New England Patriots football fan. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY, Wednesday at 9 AM. Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, N. Quincy at 10 AM. Visiting hours Tuesday 4-8 PM. Burial in Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Jack may be made to the American Heart Assn., 20 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
