Stabins, John J. of Hull, August 31, 2002. Beloved husband of the late Irene F. (Little). Loving father of Robert J. and his wife Joan of Hull. Brother of Cathy Sullivan of So. Boston and the late Muriel Dyall and Irene Cusick. Grandfather of Troy of Hull and Kevin and Jason, both of FL. Great Grandfather of Alexis and Joshua, both of FL. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Mr. Stabins was a member of the VFW Richardson Post #1787 in Hull, a member of St. Mary’s Bowling League in Hull, a member of American Legion #120, Hingham.He was also a Life Member of the USS Bunker Hill (CV-17) Association.Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.), HINGHAM Wednesday at 8:15 AM. Funeral Mass in Saint Ann’s Church, Hull at 9 AM. Visiting hours Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Burial in Hull Village Cemetery, Hull. Donations in memory of Mr. Stabins may be made to Vietnam Veterans Homeless Shelter, 17 Court St. Boston, MA 02108.
