John J. “Sonny” Christello, Jr.

Christello, John J. “Sonny”, Jr. of Quincy, formerly of S. Boston, March 24, 2008. Beloved husband of 46 years to Frances (Hayes) Christello of Quincy. Loving father of Joseph and his wife Tracey, Ria and her husband Joseph Callahan, Theresa and her husband James McGuinness, Francie; all of Quincy,Tricia of Natick and the late John J. Christello, III. Brother of Marie and her husband George Griggs of Pembroke. Papa to Linda, Amanda, Kelli, Kristen, Nikki, Joey, Andrew, Jackie and Lilly. John was a hardworker who provided for his family and enjoyed spending time with them. He was known for his cooking skills. John’s family met every Sunday in the summer for a barbeque that he always prepared. He also enjoyed cooking for family celebrations and holidays. Mr. Christello was quiet and reserved, yet an instigator, who enjoyed making people laugh. He was proud, humble, and had a good sense of humor. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY, Saturday at 9 AM. Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, N. Quincy at 10 AM. Visiting hours Friday 3-8 PM. Burial in Pine Hill Cemetery, Quincy. Donations in memory of Mr. Christello may be made to American Heart Assn., 20 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701
