Papasodero,Sr., John J. of Hull, December 22, 2008. Beloved husband of Donna J. Dixon of Hull. Loving father of Deborah Papasodero, John J. Papasodero, Jr., Ronald Papasodero, and AnnMarie Papasodero all of Hull. Stepfather of Erik J. Otto of Chelmsford. Brother of Anna Richardson of Hull, Elizabeth Ferris of Hingham and the late Mary Emanuello, Anthony Papasodero and James Papasodero. Son of the late Victoria and James Onofrio Papasodero. John is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. John was a lifelong resident of Hull. He was the owner and operator of J. Papasodero General Contracting for more than 30 years. He was the former Superintendent of the Hull Highway Dept. and worked for the town for many years. He was especially proud of the years he served as a call firefighter in Hull. John will be rembered as a hard working man who was generous not only with his time but also with his talents. He enjoyed helping people and often asked nothing in return but a simple “Thank You”. John truly loved Hull and it’s townspeople. He was a caring man who enjoyed the simple pleasures in life and in his retirement he became an avid fisherman. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the memorial visitation on Tuesday, Dec. 30 from 4- 8 PM in the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald Street, Hingham. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of John may be made to American Cancer Society, Central NE Region, 18 Tremont Street, Suite 700, Boston, MA 02108.
