John J. O’Neill

Mr. John J. O’Neill, of Weymouth, formerly of Braintree, passed away on the morning of  January 23, 2017.  He was 59.

John was a union carpenter for Local # 67 for 35 years. He was a hard working man who provided for his family. He enjoyed watching all New England Sports especially Sunday football. John loved cooking on the grill at large family cookouts.

Beloved husband 45 years to Laura A. (Salvaggio) O’Neill. Loving father of Sheila R. O’Neill of Whitman and Paul J. O’Neill of Weymouth. Brother of Susan Roman and her husband, Joseph, of Plymouth, and Robert O’Neill and his wife, Claire, of Rockland. Uncle of 12 nieces and nephews and Great Uncle of 5 nieces and nephews. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Thursday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital). Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 9:15 AM on Friday prior to the Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, Weymouth at 10 AM. Burial will follow in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
