John J. Nolan

Nolan, John J. of Quincy, passed away May 6, 2012. Beloved husband of Patricia A. (Allen) Nolan Loving father of John J. “Jay” Nolan, Jr of Florida, Daniel J. Nolan and his wife, Joan of Abington, Nancy L. Simpson and her husband, David, of Maine and Linda M. Nolan and her longtime companion, Michael DeBellis of Weymouth. Cherished grandfather of Christopher, Brian, and Sean Simpson, Alaina Grady and Jamie Nolan. Great grandfather of Samantha and Jackson. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Mr. Nolan was a Korean War veteran serving with the United States Navy. In his spare time he enjoyed fishing and he cherished the time spent with his family and grandchildren. He will be missed by all those who had the pleasure to know him. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Wednesday from 4- 8 p.m. in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15 AM on Thursday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Ann’s Church, Quincy at 10 AM. Burial will be held privately in Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne. Memorial donations may be made to Saint Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 510 Saint Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105
