McGurk, John J. of Lynn, March 3, 2004. The beloved husband of Barbara (Leavitt) Mitchell of Lynn. Father of Theresa Russell and Geraldine Golden both of New York. Stepfather of David Mitchell of East Bridgewater. Brother of Thomas McGurk of Long Island, New York and Frances Bogardus of Albany , New York. John is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral service in the Keohane Funeral Home 785 Hancock St. , WOLLASTON Monday at 11am. Visiting hours Sunday 4-7 PM. Burial in Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne Monday at 1:30. Metalergist – tested metals, in New York before he worked at Walmart. John served in the United States Navy during W.W.II.
