John J. “Jack” Reilly, Jr.

John J. “Jack” Reilly, Jr. of Quincy, died September 6, 2013 after a long illness, at the Brockton VA Hospital, surrounding by his loving family. He was 64.

Jack proudly served in the US Army during the Vietnam War. He was an avid sports fan, especially following the Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots. He was known to collect sports memorabilia and enjoyed many superbowl parties with friends. 

Beloved son of the late John and Helen Reilly. Loving brother of Helen Zopatti of Holbrook, Linda Johnson of Rockland and sister-in-law May Cunningham of Rockland. Cherished uncle of Kelly Johnson of Holbrook, Bryan Johnson of Boston, great-nephew Dylan and great-nieces Chandler and Braeden. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Tuesday 2-4 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital)  Funeral service will follow in the funeral home on Tuesday at 4 PM. Burial at a later date. The family sincerely thanks the VA Hospitals for the loving and compassionate care shown to Jack over the years.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Boston VA Healthcare System, Voluntary & Recreation Service, ATTN: John J. Reilly Memorial Gift Fund, 940 Belmont Street, Brockton, MA 02301.
