Ingrassia, John J., Jr. of Hingham November 11, 2003. Beloved husband of Jill (Sciarini) Ingrassia. Loving father of Emma and Rebecca Ingrassia. Loving son of John J. Ingrassia, Sr. (retired Hingham Police Officer) & his wife Donna of Hingham and Margaret Jewell of St. Johnsbury, VT. Loving brother of Janalee Bachand of Palmer, Kimberly Baker of Beverly, Suzanne Luscombe of Orleans and Stephen “Chip” of Weymouth. Grandson of David and Dorothy Adam of Carver. Also survived by a niece, 5 nephews, many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the Funeral Service in St. John the Evangelist Church, 172 Main St., Hingham Sunday at 2 PM. Visiting hours Saturday 1-5 PM in the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St., (off Central St.), HINGHAM. Burial in Hingham Cemetery. John died at home on Tuesday November 11, 2003 surrounded by his family after a brief battle with cancer. A 1987 graduate of Hingham High School, John worked for many years at Kehoe’s Ships’ Chandlery and Landfall Marine in Hingham. He was a nautical buff who built his own boat and liked to fish. John bowled for many years in Scituate as well. He was an avid NASCAR fan and was able to attend his first race last month.
