John J. Horgan

John J. “Jack” Horgan of Weymouth, formerly of Westfield, Billerica and Braintree, died January 7, 2017 at the age of 61.

Jack worked as vice president of produce sales for the former Purity Supreme Supermarkets and later as director of wholesalers for C&S Wholesale Grocers in Hatfield. Jack focused his life on making others feel comfortable. When people met Jack, they would immediately become his best friend. He was positive, upbeat and made everyone around him feel special.

Beloved husband of Ann M. (Leonard) Horgan. Loving father of Thomas Horgan of Quincy, Margaret “Maggie” Horgan of Holbrook, and Mary-Kate Horgan of Weymouth. Son of the late Ann and Tom Horgan. Brother of Thomas Horgan of SC, Annmarie Hogan of Canton, Cheryl Gilbert, and Debbie Destefano, both of Sandwich. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Wednesday 4-7 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home EAST WEYMOUTH at 3 Charles Street (corner of Charles & Middle Street). Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 9:45 AM on Thursday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Jerome Church, Weymouth at 10:30 AM.
