Conlon, John J. “Jack” Ret. QFD of Weymouth, died January 26, 2015.
Beloved brother of James “Sonny” Conlon of South Boston, Bob Conlon and his wife Ellie of Weymouth, Carol Walling and her husband Roy of Plaistow, New Hampshire and the late Mary Buckley, Eugene and Paul Conlon. Brother in law of Bill Buckley of Weymouth, Denise Conlon of Quincy and the late Linda Conlon. Dear longtime friend of John Baldi and Chuck Behenna. Jack is also lovingly survived by many nieces and nephews.
Jack was born in Boston, he was a graduate of Quincy High School and Anna Maria College. Jack was a fire fighter for the Quincy Fire Department for 32 years before retiring. After retirement Jack worked as a analyst for the National Fire Protection Agency in Quincy. He was a huge history buff and enjoyed music especially Frank Sinatra. Jack was a kind hearted man who always took a special interest in each of his nieces and nephews who he loved immensely. Jack will be truly missed by all who had the pleasure to have known and loved him.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Tuesday 4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:00 AM Wednesday prior to the Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, Weymouth Landing at 10:00 AM. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
