John J. Carroll

Carroll, John J. a lifetime resident of Quincy, June 27, 2002. Beloved husband of Nancy A. (Jennings) Carroll and the late Anita Carroll. Loving father of Dianne A. Sleeth of Quincy, Nancy A. McDonald of Hanover, Mary Frances Pickering of Quincy and the late Charles D. Carroll. Brother of the late Mary Carroll. Also survived by 6 grandchildren and a great-grandson. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the Funeral from the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St. , WOLLASTON Monday at 8:00 AM. Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, North Quincy at 9:00 AM. Visiting hours Sunday 4:00 – 8:00 PM. Cremation will follow. John worked as a manager for New England Telephone for 34 years, retiring in 1979. He and his wife were members of St. Agatha’s Couples Club. He was an avid reader and enjoyed golf. While serving in the Navy, he went to electrical school.
