John J. Burns

John J. Burns of Weymouth, died May 8, 2015. He was 53.

John owned and operated Burns Landscaping in Weymouth for 30 years. He also worked as a sales representative for Independent Pipe in Canton for over 15 years. John lived his life to the fullest, enjoying activities with his family such as skiing, kayaking, camping and going to the beach. He was a charming man with an infectious personality. He will be sadly missed. 

Beloved husband of Susan (Cook) Burns of Weymouth. Devoted father of Allison and Abigail Burns of Weymouth. Cherished son of Evelyn Burns and the late Arthur J. Burns, Sr. of Weymouth. Loving brother of Arthur J. Burns, Jr. of Weymouth, Patricia Nicholls of Weymouth, Theresa Brigandi and her husband Michael of Abington and James Burns and his wife Jennifer of Weymouth. Brother-in-law of Kenneth Cook of Abington, Lewis Cook of Rockland, Linda Rice of Halifax and Virginia O’Brien of Abington. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Tuesday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital).

Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 8:30 AM Wednesday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Francis Xavier Church, Weymouth at 9:30 AM. Burial in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Weymouth.
