John H. Morse

Morse, John H. of Weymouth, died March 9, 2015.

John was born in Boston and has lived in Weymouth for over 80 years. He graduated from Indiana Tech University as president of his senior class. John proudly served in the United State Army during WWII from Normandy (D+3) to Germany. He worked for 40 years as a civil engineer for the Town of Weymouth and was also a member of the Sons of Italy. John could often be found tending to his yard and spending time with his family. 

Beloved husband of 53 years to the late Marie E. (Fontaine). Devoted father of Jaun A. Johson of Plymouth, Cherie C. Miles and her husband Philip of Plymouth, John J. Morse and his wife Jennifer of Plymouth, Kenneth C. Morse and his partner Jean Miller of Weymouth and Pamela A. Bailey and her partner Jim Seaquist of Hull. Cherished grandfather of 9 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. 

Burial in Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne. Services will be private.
