John F. “Jack” Guinan, Jr.

Guinan, John F., Jr. “Jack” of Quincy August 20, 2005. Beloved husband of 51 years to Carmelita (Leahy) Guinan. Loving father of John F. Guinan, III & his wife Karen of Dedham. Loving grandfather of John A. and Lindsay Guinan. Brother of the late Ann Duwan. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., WOLLASTON Thursday at 9 AM. Funeral Mass in Saint Ann’s Church, Wollaston at 10 AM. Visiting hours Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Burial in Old Calvary Cemetery, Boston. Jack graduated from Milton High School and Northeastern University. After school, he proudly served in the U.S. Navy. For 34 years, he worked for the MBTA, retiring as Chief Legal Assistant. He had also worked for South Shore Wholesale Tire in Milton. He was a longtime member of the North Quincy Knights of Columbus and served on the board of director’s for the Boston Catholic Cemetery Association for over 30 years, most recently as secretary.
