John F. Howard

Howard, John F. of Quincy, Suddenly on November 3, 2003. The beloved son of the late Martin J. & Ellen (Cullinan) Howard. Brother of Mary Koumjian and her husband John of Watertown and Paul Howard and his wife Ruth of Millis. John was the brother of the late Martin J. Howard, Jr., Eileen Mack and Robert Howard. John is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Keohane Funeral Home 785 Hancock St. , WOLLASTON Saturday at 9 AM. Funeral Mass in Saint Ann’s Church, Wollaston at 10 AM. Visiting hours Friday 4-8 PM. Burial in Pine Hill Cemetery, Quincy. John was a graduate of Newman Prep. in Boston. He then graduated from Boston State Teachers College. He was a talented architect and worked for M.I.T in Cambridge for many years and he also worked for Royal Barry Wills in Boston for several years. John enjoyed woodworking, he enjoyed walking Wollaston Beach. He was an active member at Trinity Church in Boston. During his retirement, John devoted his time and talents reconstrcting and renovating St. Benedicts Monastery in Still River, MA . John is a W.W. II United States Marine Corp. veteran.
