Aldrich, John F. of Marina Bay (Quincy), died on Saturday, August 28, 2010. Loving and caring husband of Sharon Aldrich of Marina Bay. Husband of the late Barbara (Shea) Aldrich. Loving father of Patricia Leahy and her husband Robert of Hingham and Lynne Aldrich-Mitchell and her husband James of Braintree. Brother of the late Grace Bratt. Grandfather of Kelli, Erin & Christopher Leahy and Shaye Mitchell. Also survived by several nieces, nephews and his pets Touchdown and the late Fumbles. John was raised and educated in Medford, MA. A Veteran of the United States Navy, John served during WWII and later graduated from Northeastern University and Bentley College. A Certified Public Accountant, he was a retired Partner at Coopers & Lybrand in Boston and an Executive Vice President with Moors & Cabot in Boston. John was a member of the Quincy Lodge of Elks, American Legion, Caddy Marine Detachment and the MA Society for the Sons of the American Revolution. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a gathering at the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock Street, QUINCY on Thursday, September 2, 2010 from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM followed by a Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, N. Quincy at 12:00 Noon. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree. Donations in memory of Mr. Aldrich may be made to the American Heart Association, 20 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701.
