John E. Sullivan, Jr.

John E. Sullivan, Jr. of Quincy, passed away peacefully, March 16, 2016. 

Beloved husband of 55 years to Philomena “Phyllis”  (Hennessy) Sullivan of Quincy. Loving father of Ann M. Sullivan of Quincy, Clare P. Sullivan-Block of Quincy, Mary J. Sullivan of South Boston, Martin Sullivan of Quincy, and John E. Sullivan, III and his wife Beth Castrodale of Jamaica Plain.  Dear brother of Mary Sullivan of Newton, Anna Talanian and her husband Richard of Norwood, Patricia Cooney and her husband Kenny of Newton and the late Lawrence, Eugene, and Francis Sullivan.  Loving brother-in law of Bertha Sullivan of Wellesley and Donna Sullivan of Franklin.  Cherished grandfather of Nicholas, Matthew and Bridget Block.  John is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. 

John proudly served his country in the US Army during WWII. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Friday 4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 8:00 AM on Saturday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Ann’s Church, Quincy at 9:00 AM. Burial will follow in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, West Roxbury.
