John E. Meagher

Mr. John E. Meagher, of Weymouth, passed away on July 15, 2023.  He was 84.

John was employed for many years for Shawn Harris Enterprise .

John enjoyed taking cruises, a lover of new cars and trucks and just loved driving around. He was a proud Vietnam veteran serving with the United States Air Force. 

Beloved husband of Elizabeth S. (Egan) Meagher of Weymouth. 

Stepfather of Edward Tarbox and his wife, Marion, of Mission Viejo, CA, and Roy Tarbox and his wife, Shannon, of Richmond, NH. 

Brother of Alice Johnson of Colorado and the late Mary E. Duff. 

Uncle of Debbie Avery, Susan Kostro, Frank Duff, and the late Jimmy Duff.

Also survived 6 grandchildren two great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to John’s Funeral Mass on Saturday July 29th, 2023 at 10:30 AM in St. Jerome Church, Weymouth at 10:30 AM. Burial will be private.
