Linnehan, John E. of Quincy, died unexpectedly on Saturday August 6, 2011. The beloved husband of 58 years to the late Barbara M. (Ruger) Linnehan. Loving father of John E. Linnehan of Plymouth, Paul J. Linnehan, Patricia A. Collins, Peter T. Linnehan all of Quincy, Daniel L. Linnehan of Foxboro, Nancy A. Brennock of Jacksonville, FL and Tara M. Linnehan of Quincy and the late Diane M. Deshler and Michael J. Linnehan. Brother of Jim Linnehan of Wilmington, Betty Miele of Arlington and the late Mary Cunningham. Mr. Linnehan is also survived by his 16 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. John was a proud Korean War Veteran serving in the United States Air Force. He worked for many years in sales with Reid Graphics. John was a devoted husband and father who cherished his time with his family. He will be sadly missed by all those who were blessed to have known him. Though his family is saddened by his sudden death, they find peace in knowing that their parents are back together again. They are thankful for all the blessings that he brought into their lives. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Tuesday 4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15 AM on Wednesday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Ann’s Church, Quincy at 10 AM. Burial in Pine Hill Cemetery, Quincy.
