John “Dave” Young

John “Dave” Young, of Weymouth, died April 25, 2013. He was 70.

Dave has lived in Weymouth for most of his life. He worked installing in-ground pools for over 40 years. Dave’s family and friends were the foundation of all that was important to him. He will be sadly missed.

Beloved husband of 48 years to Diana (Means) Young of Weymouth. Devoted father of Rhonda Zaniewski and her husband John and Cindy Moran and her husband John, both of Weymouth. Cherished “Papa Dave” of Melissa, Amanda, Jessica, Megan and Brendan. Loving brother of Charlotte Blanchard of Bluffton, SC, Alice Burns of Bridgewater and Marcia Hall and her husband Thomas of Marlboro. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.   

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Tuesday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home EAST WEYMOUTH at 3 Charles Street (corner of Charles & Middle Street).  Funeral service will be celebrated in the funeral home on Wednesday at 10 AM. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
