John D. Maltese

Maltese, John D. of Braintree, passed away with his family by his side on January 30, 2017.

John grew up in Roxbury and was a proud U.S. Army veteran serving in the Korean conflict. John loved his home life and the beach; also in his spare time he enjoyed fishing and sports.

Beloved husband of Pat (Coyne) Maltese of Braintree. Loving father of John Maltese of Braintree, Michael and his wife Jane of Shapleigh, ME and Linda Maltese of Port St. Lucie FL. Son of the late John and Anna Maltese. Proud Grandpa of Nicole and Mark. Cherished brother of Mary Kelley of Medford. Cousin of Sam Cina of Rockland. Predeceased by his siblings Matthew, Joe, Frank, Vincenza and Gertrude. John is also survived by many nieces and nephews.  

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Wednesday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital). A Funeral service will be celebrated on Thursday at 11 AM in McDonald Keohane Funeral Home.
