John D. Lucier

Lucier, John D. of Rockland, formerly of Quincy, passed away September 29, 2011. Beloved husband of the late Virginia M. “Ginny” Lucier. Devoted father of John D. Lucier, Jr. and his wife Lori of Quincy, Marie McPhee and her husband Ken of So. Weymouth and Patty Riley of So. Boston. Brother of Alice Caobelli of Quincy and the late Miriam Doyle, Bernard, Paul and Joseph Lucier. Loving grandfather of Rachel and Dominique Lucier of Quincy. John is also survived by many nieces and nephews. John was a graduate of Quincy High School. He worked as a Machinist for Textron in Quincy for 35 years before retiring. John enjoyed spending time with family. John was an avid Boston sports fan. Most of all John’s family was the most important part of his life. John was a WWII Army Veteran. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the Funeral Mass in St. Agatha’s Church, 432 Adams St., Milton, Tuesday at 10:30 AM. Burial in Mt. Wollaston Cemetery, Quincy.
