John Coleman

Coleman, John of Randolph, formally of Milton and Quincy, died January 16, 2018.

Beloved son of the late Mary Perkins of Galway, Ireland.

John was born on March 28, 1937 in Boston, MA.  At the age of 10, John became a resident of Wrentham State School, he later moved to the South Shore Rehab Center and for the last 30 years lived at the Human Service Options.  John attended work Inc, Stride Day Habilitation in Dorchester, where he gained teaching and training of skills to be integrated into society.  He had a passion for being in the presence of others, he communicated semi verbally and by using American sign language.  John was an avid sports fan, especially for the New England Patriots.  He enjoyed vacationing in Florida, trips to Dunkin Donuts and watching movies and wrestling videos on his I-pad. John will be remembered for his easy going personality and his love of being around people.  He will be sadly missed but never forgotten.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Tuesday 8-9 AM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY.  A Funeral Mass will follow in St. Elizabeth’s Church, Milton at 9:30 AM.  Burial in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Boston.

In lieu of flowers donations in memory of John may be made to a charity of your choice.
