John P. “Johnny” Cicerone, of Hyde Park, formerly of Quincy, died peacefully on Tuesday, December 10, 2024, after a short illness. He was 69.
Johnny was born in Boston on November 12, 1955, and was the loving son of the late Vincent J. and Mary L. (Doherty) Cicerone. He was raised in Quincy and attended local schools.
Johnny was involved in several activities including the Boy Scout troop 151. He loved bowling at St. Ann's, dancing, and what made him most happy was being with family.
Johnny was the cherished brother of Denise M. Finlayson and her late husband Neil of Hyde Park, Mark V. Cicerone and his wife Geri of Norton, and Michael J. Cicerone and his wife Deirdre of Duxbury. He was the loving uncle of Eric V. Cicerone of Hyde Park, Jessica M. Cicerone of Norton, Anthony DiNatale of Norton, Michael V. Cicerone of Duxbury, Payton V. Cicerone of Duxbury. Johnny is also survived by many loving extended family members and friends.
Johnny’s family would like to extend their gratitude for all the care and support given to him from Maggie and Rachema. Johnny’s family is sincerely grateful for your tender and loving support.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Sunday, December 22, 2024, from 2-5 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:30 AM on Monday, December 23, 2024, prior to the Funeral Mass at Divine Mercy Parish in St. Ann’s Church, Quincy at 10:30 AM.
Services will conclude with interment in St. Michael’s Cemetery, Boston.
