McCormick, John Andrew (Andy), age 70, of Quincy, died on Monday, July 5, 2010, at home surrounded by family after a long battle with cancer. Beloved husband of Maria L. (Alibrandi) McCormick of Quincy. Loving father of Lisa Munn and her husband Tim of Wrentham, Lori A. LaDuke and her husband Kevin of Millis and Scott A. McCormick and his wife Amy of Weymouth. Grandpa and Papa to Philip, Peter, Jonathan and Katherine. Son of the late James F. and Nancy McCormick. Brother of James F. McCormick , Nancy A. Cruz, Theresa “Terri” Gandy; all of FL, Mary L. Hayes of Kingston and Patricia Peters of Weymouth. Brother-in-law to Angela Mullins of Hanover, Joseph and Betty Alibrandi of NC and Robert Alibrandi of Rockland. Uncle to Louise Mullins and many other nieces and nephews. Andy retired from Verizon Telephone after 38 years. He loved sports, gardening and spending time with his grandchildren and family. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours Thursday, July 8, 2010 from 4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock Street, QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15 AM on Friday, July 9, 2010 prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Ann’s Church at 10 AM. Burial in Pine Hill Cemetery, Quincy.
