John A. Schneider

Schneider, John A., longtime resident of Weymouth, died May 3, 2016.

John worked as an electrician for Mass Electric and was currently with the MBTA. He was a member of IBEW Local 103 and the Weymouth Elks. He was a skilled handyman who enjoyed working in the garage with his kids on anything with a spark plug. John enjoyed boating, snowmobiling and was fiercely devoted to his family. He will be sadly missed. 

Beloved husband of Laura (Faubert) Schneider of Weymouth. Devoted father of AJ, Jackie and Mitchel Schneider, all of Weymouth. Cherished son of Kathleen and the late Alvin Schneider of Weymouth. Son-in-law of John and Shirley Faubert of FL. Loving brother of Stephen Schneider and his companion Deb Sargent, Kris Mullarkey and her husband Michael, all of Weymouth and the late Kathy Schneider of Duxbury. Uncle John to Vallery, Katie, Josh, Jessica and Michaela. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Monday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital). Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 8:30 AM on Tuesday prior to the Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, Weymouth at 9:30 AM.
