John A. Miller, of Hull and Fort Myers, formerly of Easton passed away July 3, 2014, at the age of 72.
Born in Boston to the late Winifred (Gallagher) and John Miller, Sr. He was the brother of the late Carol Amadea. Lifelong friend of Paul Ryan of Plymouth. Jack enjoyed his years boating, golfing, skiing and playing cribbage. He viewed every day as a gift and made certain that family time was paramount. He appreciated every moment of his life. He was never happier than when he was surrounded by his family and scores of friends.
He was the owner of Millers Express Company, Inc. in Sharon for 20 years.
Jack was the beloved husband of 49 years to Joan (Burke) Miller. He was the cherished father of Robert Miller of Plymouth, Carol Bratt and her husband Erek of Norton, Daniel Miller-Dempsey and his husband Timothy of Weymouth, and the late Susan Miller. He was the loving grandfather to Kyle and Sarah Miller, Cameron, Jake, Ryon, and Brayden Bratt, and David and Jacob Miller-Dempsey.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours in the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald Street (off Central St.) Hingham on Tuesday, July 8 from 4-8pm. A Celebration of Life service will be held in the funeral home on Wednesday at 9am prior to the funeral mass in St. Mary’s Parish in St. Ann’s Church, Hull on Wednesday at 10am. Burial in Hull Village Cemetery, Hull.
