John A. Marchetti

Marchetti, John A. of Hull, died February 25, 2015.

John was born in Cohasset, he grew up in Hull and was  a graduate of Hingham High School.  John was the Owner and Operater of Marchetti’s Italian Restaurant in Hull for over 40 years before retiring. He was a past member of the Salt Water Club in Hull.  John enjoyed fishing, gardening and woodworking.  Most of all John loved his family who were the cornerstone of his life.  He will be missed by all who had the pleasure to have known him. 

Beloved husband of Ruth (Cram) Marchetti of Hull.  Loving father of Ruth Ann Furze of Cohasset and  Nancy Fuda and her husband James of Glastonbury, CT.  Brother of Ida Clark of Plymouth and the late Victoria Marchetti.  Father in law of the late Martin Furze.  Cherished grandfather of Matthew Furze, Karen Fecteau, Michael and John Fuda.  Great-grandfather of Roman, Isabella, Emily and Clara.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Monday 3-7 PM in the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.), HINGHAM. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15 AM on Tuesday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Mary’s Parish in St. Ann’s Church, Hull at 10 AM. Burial will be at a later date.
